Crowley Zwartjes

A longtime Portland resident and ex-art school kid, Crowley brings a unique mix of influences to their tattooing. Drawing inspiration from animation, graphic novels, magic, science, mythology, and the natural world, they combine traditional and fine-line techniques with a distinct illustrative style. While they’re most experienced in black and grey work, Crowley is excited to explore more color in their pieces. Whether it’s a large-scale tattoo or a delicate design, Crowley loves collaborating with clients to create personalized, meaningful tattoos in a welcoming and inclusive space. Outside the studio, Crowley is usually reading multiple books, hiking, binging video essays on YouTube, or diving into new music.

Customs and flash are booked separately, with availability updated on Instagram. They’re typically booked out two months at a time and check email weekly.
